Trefoil Maiden

She was dressed in a loose, light blue linen kirtle, and wore garters of soft leather upon her feet. She wore no adornment save a plain, round silver brooch at her throat with the image of a trefoil engraved upon it, pinning a similarly colored cloak about her shoulders. Her arms were bare, and she was as brown of skin as Brychan was fair. But it was not her clothing that caught my eye.
